Harpur's Season Cut Short by Pectoral Injury

In a recent announcement, it was revealed that defenseman Ben Harpur will be unavailable for the rest of the season after a pectoral surgery.
A couple Hartford notes:
- Ben Harpur is out for the season due to pectoral surgery. A hit the #NYR D depth.
- RD Mac Hollowell has been out with an injury, but coach Steve Smith is hopeful he'll be back this week. He practiced today.

Ben Harpur is out for the season due to pectoral surgery. He fell really hard on his shoulder after scoring this goal. Happen on Nov 3rd and didn't play a game since. #NYR
Ben Harpur's absence for the reast of the season will have a huge impact on the Rangers' defensive depth.
Harpur, 28 years old, has played in 198 NHL games over seven seasons. In the 2022-23 season, he played 42 games with the Rangers. Unfortunately, he has yet to make an appearance in an NHL game this season, and the recent season-ending surgery has confirmed that he will not be able to do so.
This setback represents a notable loss for the Rangers, and we extend our best wishes to Ben Harpur for a successful recovery.
