We're heartbroken to hear the news about Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this morning. An Irvine native, Nic became the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks, in 2017. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.
At just 24 years old, Nic Kerdiles retired from professional hockey to pursue a career as a real estate agent. Sadly, he lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Nashville early yesterday morning.
Originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2012, Nic played three games with the team before concluding his professional hockey career with the Manitoba Moose in the AHL in 2018.
Our sympathies are with his grieving loved ones. May he rest in peace.
