Arizona Coyotes Have Finalized Purchase Of Land For New Arena Build
In a significant development reported by Darren Dreger, the Arizona Coyotes are on the verge of moving to a new land in Phoenix for their new arena. Plans to build the new arena are expected to be unveiled next month.
Not sure commissioner Bettman or the Arizona Coyotes will expand on this today. As mentioned last night on @TSNHockey, the Coyotes are finalizing the purchase of a piece of land in Phoenix for an arena build. They're hoping to announce project plans next month.
This move comes after the Coyotes faced setbacks in their initial attempt to secure land for an arena, with the City rejecting their submitted plans. The team has been temporarily playing in Arizona State University's Hockey Arena for the last couple of years while seeking for a permanent home and it seems the time has finally come.
Stay tuned for further updates...
