The Boston Bruins Lose Two Key Players Due To Injury

Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today that star defenseman Charlie McAvoy and forward Pavel Zacha have been placed on IR. The team has also recalled forward Patrick Brown and Parker Wotherspoon from Providence.
The Bruins have placed Charlie McAvoy and Pavel Zacha on injured reserve.

Boston has recalled Patrick Brown from Providence and recalled Parker Wotherspoon from Providence on an emergency basis.
The 25 year old McAvoy has appeared in 21 games with Boston this season, recording three goals and 14 assists for 17 points while Pavel Zacha has appeared in 26 games with Boston this season, recording eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points.
It will be interesting to see if the Bruins can continue their strong start to the season going into the playoffs stretch.
