Boston Bruins sign former Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender to a PTO

Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, September 19, that the team has signed goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo to a Professional Tryout Agreement (PTO).

Kaskisuo, who is 30 years old, played 13 games with the Laval Rockets in the AHL during the 2023-24 season. He had a record of 7-4-0, a 2.90 goals-against average, and a .909 save percentage. Over his career, Kaskisuo has appeared in 108 AHL games with a record of 53-36-10, a 2.68 goals-against average, and a .909 save percentage. He also played for Leksands IF in the Swedish Hockey League from 2021 to 2023.
Originally signed by Nashville as a free agent in 2020, Kaskisuo hails from Vantaa, Finland.
