Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand is facing a massive suspension for physically engaging with the referee in game 6 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Last night, Brad Marchand's frustration boiled over as he pushed an official while heading to the bench. This action sparked outrage among fans, as it clearly violates NHL rules against physical force towards officials.

According to NHL regulations, any deliberate physical force against an official warrants an automatic suspension. The rule specifies a suspension of not less than ten games for such actions.
40.3 - Automatic Suspension - Category II - Any player who deliberately applies physical force to an official in any manner, which physical force is applied without intent to injure, or who spits on an official, shall be automatically suspended for not less than ten (10) games.

Despite this clear violation, the NHL has yet to address the incident, leaving many to speculate whether Marchand will face consequences for his actions.
