Calgary Flames top prospect & 9th overall draft pick in 2024 Zayne Parekh is in deep trouble after a recent game incident where he delivered a late hit & then allegedly speared a fan.

During the game Parekh was ejected for the late hit but things escalated when reports surfaced that on his way to the locker room he jabbed a fan with his stick. This has raised concerns & the possibility of disciplinary action is now being considered.
Zayne Parekh's actions bring to mind a similar incident involving Zachary L'Heureux who faced multiple suspensions in the QMJHL for aggressive behavior including high sticking & unsportsmanlike conduct. In February L'Heureux received a 10 game suspension after jabbing his stick toward fans while leaving the ice. Thankfully the fan involved wasn't hurt but the incident sparked controversy.
Given the similarities there's speculation that Parekh could face a similar punishment. The league takes fan safety seriously & any incident involving fans can result in severe consequences. If found guilty Zayne Parekh may face a suspension that could impact his career and reputation.
This serves as a reminder that no matter how intense the game gets, professionalism & discipline must be maintained. Zayne Parekh's actions if proven could lead to serious repercussions for his future in hockey.
Stay tuned for more updates as we gather more information regarding this incident.
