Two Possible Landing Spots for Perry
With nine points in 16 games, Perry, 38, is still going strong.
He could play an important role with a team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
Two teams have been identified as possible landing spots.
First, the Toronto Maple Leafs would certainly be interested.
Even if they don't really need more offensive depth, a guy like Perry brings what the Leafs are missing: leadership and energy.
With Perry's tendency to perform well in the playoffs, he could be the key for the Leafs to go far in the playoffs.
The second possible team are the New York Rangers. The Rangers are struggling to keep their rhythm this season. They haven't been able to be constant on the ice and this happens to be one of Perry's qualities.
With the young guys in the team, he could be a great mentor, and help the veterans play with more confidence.
