It is no secret that NHL players are among the lowest paid professional athletes in the major North American sports. However, just like athletes in other leagues, they can supplement their income with endorsement deals. That is exactly what happened with one Red Wings forward recently.

Red Wings Captain Lands New Endorsement Deal With Private Jet Company

Dylan Larkin announced a new endorsement deal with BC Flight today. The company is a private jet service based out of Michigan.
Detroit Red Wings' Dylan Larkin Named Brand Ambassador for BC Flight

BC Flight CEO Thane Namy announced the deal today. In the statement, he talked a little but about what his company offers and why Larkin is a good fit to be a brand ambassador.
"We're excited to work with Dylan. Not only is he captain of the iconic Detroit Red Wings and a regular private jet flyer, but he's also a great role model in the community. The concept of the campaign centers around the effortless nature and convenience of flying privately with us. Whether you are an NHL team captain, business executive, or planning a family vacation, the BC Flight experience is easy and relaxing – which is exactly how private jet travel should be."

Larkin released a statement of his own regarding his new partnership with the company.
"I'm excited to partner with BC Flight as both an ambassador and a client. Their company mission of convenience, relaxation, and approachability is exactly what I'm looking for when I'm planning travel for my family and friends. The advertising campaign perfectly conveys that, and I'm proud to be a part of it."

Larkin Carrying Red Wings To Playoffs With Career year

It is fitting that the Red Wings captain would get an endorsement deal this year as Larkin is in the middle of what could be the best year of his career. He currently has 23 goals and 47 points through 44 games.
While he has gotten very close, Larkin has technically never scored at a point-per-game pace or higher over the course of a full season in his career. Furthermore, his career high in goals is currently 32. That number is well in reach with nearly half the season for Larkin to pot ten more tallies. If he continues to play at this level, he could very well carry his team to their first playoff appearance since 2016.
