BREAKING: Oilers Broker A Trade With Rangers
The Edmonton Oilers have just announced a trade they made with the New York Rangers.
The Oilers will be getting prospect Jayden Grubbe who was drafted in 2021 65th overall. Grubbe, a 6'3" center has captained the Red Deer Rebels each of the past three seasons posting 67 points in 64 games most recently.
While he is not the most dominant offensive player, he is great defensively and projects as a 3rd or 4th line center who spends time on the penalty kill.
Grubbe will likely play next year in the AHL but could potentially crack the lineup if he impresses at training camp.
