Matthew Tkachuk roasts the Leafs following game 7 loss

The Boston Bruins have clinched a ticket to round two of the Stanley Cup Playoffs versus the Florida Panthers, thanks to an overtime winner by David Pastrnak versus the Toronto Maple Leafs in game seven of the first round. Matthew Tkachuk said he had an idea that they would play the Bruins.

While many had an idea of the Leafs making the second round after they miraculously came back from a 3-1 deficit, apparently Matthew Tkachuk knew they would play the Boston Bruins based on how they played.

Tkachuk: "Without this coming out too badly, I think we all knew it was probably going to Boston the way that series was going...I think throughout the whole series we were probably expecting they were going to come out and win it one way or another."

Quite the Jab thrown at the Maple Leafs from number 19 of the Panthers who seems to not take the Toronto Maple Leafs serious enough as a threat to the Cats.

Game one of the second round between the Bruins and the Panthers will begin on Monday in what will be a series of revenge in the hopes of Boston after losing to the Cats last season in the first round.
