Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers are now Stanley Cup Champions, and after winning the cup, Tkachuk took a final jab at the city of Edmonton.

In an exciting Game 7, the Florida Panthers narrowly defeated the Edmonton Oilers to become the 2024 Stanley Cup Champions.

After the game, Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk took a jab at Edmonton, recalling his days with the Calgary Flames.

Matthew Tkachuk during post-game celebrations on Sportsnet: “Shoutout to my fans in Calgary still. You know I couldn't let Edmonton win.”

Tkachuk scored 22 points on the road to winning the Stanley Cup. Despite not getting on the score sheet in Game 7, he certainly made his presence known.

The Panthers' victory marks 31 straight years where an American team has won the Stanley Cup. One thing is for certain: the Oilers will come back next year with a vengeance.
