Game Between Rangers and Islanders Delayed by the NHL
New York has declared a state of emergency after massive floodings. With the game involving two New York teams, it's only logical to postpone it.
Both teams communicated their decision to move the game to Saturday night.
"The New York Islanders game tonight against the New York Rangers at UBS Arena has been postponed due to flooding and the state of emergency declared by New York State. The game will be made up tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. at UBS Arena."
