Sad news in the hockey world as former Philadelphia Flyers prospect Tony Voce has passed away at the age of 43, according to the 'Missin Curfew' podcast.
Voce, a Philadelphia native, was a standout at Boston College, scoring 167 points in 159 games. In 2004, he turned pro and signed with his hometown team, the Philadelphia Flyers, as an undrafted free agent.

He spent most of his career in the minors, including three seasons in the AHL with the Philadelphia Phantoms and Grand Rapids Griffins, winning the Calder Cup in 2005. He also played in Germany, Finland, and Austria before returning to North America in 2009 to play for the Ontario Reign in the ECHL. He retired at the end of that season.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Voce's family and friends during this difficult time.
