Fan goes viral for ruining Macklin Celebrini's 1st overall pick selection

It was no surprise when the San Jose Sharks selected star center Macklin Celebrini of Boston University with the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft on Friday night.

However, one fan almost ruined the moment for the young player. As NHL commissioner Gary Bettman welcomed everyone to the event, you could already hear a fan loudly yelling for the draft to start.

When former San Jose Sharks great Joe Thornton announced Macklin Celebrini's name, the fan yelled so loudly that it spoiled the moment.
