Dan Bylsma sounds off on Shane Wright's future with the Seattle Kraken
Seattle Kraken's new head coach, Dan Bylsma, recently made a bold statement about the future of prospect Shane Wright in Seattle.
Bylsma expressed strong support for Wright.
«I think this year served as a great opportunity for him to establish himself as a player,» Byslma said. «Just put his head down, play 72 games, play playoff games, and work on his game and develop as a person and as a player. I think that's clearly evident. It was great to see his progression throughout the year.»
Wright, who was selected 4th overall in the 2022 NHL draft despite being the favorite to go 1st, has yet to make a significant impact in the NHL. This year could be his breakthrough after spending a full season in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
