The Tampa Bay Lightning have been without their star goaltender all season long, but now, they'll have to face the Carolina Hurricanes with perhaps their biggest star to miss the game.
Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov Sidelined Due To Illness
There was speculation swirling that the Lightning would be without Nikita Kucherov for this game, and now on social media, the team have confirmed he'll miss the Saturday Night blockbuster against the Carolina Hurricanes.
UPDATE: Nikita Kucherov will miss tonight's game vs. Carolina due to illness.
In 14 games this year, Kucherov has been perhaps the best player in the NHL, notching 11 goals and 23 points over that time, and now, the team will lineup line this without him.
