William Nylander is off to a hot start this year as he has three goals and seven points through the Leafs' first four games of the season. Tonight, Leafs fans were temporarily scared as the star winger took a dangerous hit.

Kulikov Gets Away With Bad Hit On Nylander

The play came early in the second period. The Leafs were chipping and chasing the puck inside the Panthers zone. As Nylander drove behind the goal line he took a dangerous hit from Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov. The hit sent Nylander flying face first into the boards.
Luckily, Nylander got up quickly and resumed playing as all of Leafs fandom took a depth sign of relief. That being said though, there was no call on the play which Leafs fans have every right to be mad about.
