On Saturday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs are set to square off against the Anaheim Ducks in what promises to be a highly anticipated matchup, fueled by recent history between some players.

Ryan Reaves Sends A Message To Radko Gudas

Just under a year ago, Anaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas, then with the Florida Panthers, made headlines during the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs with an intense moment where he confronted Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll.
This unforgettable incident, occurring as the Maple Leafs were eliminated from playoff contention, remains etched in the memories of fans and players alike.
For Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving, this moment perhaps underscored the need for a player like enforcer Ryan Reaves, addressing concerns about the team's physicality during critical games.
Before the regular season began, at the Maple Leafs Golf Classic, Reaves commented on the Gudas-Woll incident with strong words, expressing readiness for any similar encounters.
"I hope he tries that," said Reaves when asked about the incident involving Gudas and Woll. "That would be interesting wouldn't it? That would be fun. I doubt there's gonna be any of that here."

As Reaves prepares to face Gudas on Saturday night, expectations for revenge from the Maple Leafs may not be met, according to Reaves himself.
"It's not like I'm going after him (tonight), but I'll have my eye on him," said Reaves on Saturday.
It remains to be seen whether Ryan Reaves will teach him a lesson.
