The Vancouver Canucks acquired Elias Lindholm at the trade deadline, and now it appears his wife has leaked some shocking information about his future with the team.
Despite adding Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov, and several other key players over the past year, the Canucks fell short in their quest for the Stanley Cup, losing to the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Now, they have to address their pending free agents, and it seems Lindholm might be moving on.

A tweet from NHL Spotlight hinted at this, with a fan asking if Lindholm is leaving. Lindholm's wife gave the biggest clue by posting photos on social media of him packing up, captioning it "Last day in Vancouver." When a fan asked why they had to leave, she explained it was because Lindholm is becoming a free agent, suggesting his time in Vancouver is ending.
Elias becomes a "free agent" this summer, so it is a little different now with a new contract
It's possible things could change, but considering Lindholm reportedly turned down a big offer from the Flames earlier this season, it seems likely he's priced himself out of a new deal with the Canucks.
