Jonathan Marchessault blasts the Vegas Golden Knights after signing new contract
Following his recent deal with the Nashville Predators, former Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Marchessault expressed his frustration with the Vegas Golden Knights in a recent interview.
Marchessault, a formidable player on the ice, had recently celebrated a Stanley Cup victory with the Golden Knights and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2023 for his outstanding playoff performance .
Despite his achievements, the Golden Knights decided not to retain him for the upcoming season. After hitting free agency, Marchessault joined the Nashville Predators, alongside star forward Steven Stamkos and defenseman Brady Skjei .
In an interview with TSN, Marchessault criticized the Golden Knights for their lack of effort to keep him on the roster.

After a surge of Golden Knights offseason departures, GM Kelly McCrimmon closes his presser with this statement.
"Part of the reason we won the Stanley Cup is we had so many players outperform their contract.'"
