Jonathan Marchessault blasts the Vegas Golden Knights after signing new contract

Following his recent deal with the Nashville Predators, former Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe winner Jonathan Marchessault expressed his frustration with the Vegas Golden Knights in a recent interview.
Marchessault, a formidable player on the ice, had recently celebrated a Stanley Cup victory with the Golden Knights and was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy in 2023 for his outstanding playoff performance .
"The Conn Smythe Trophy winner is officially recognized on the trophy. @GoldenKnights and #stanleycup champion Jonathan Marchessault is etched forever. @NHL @HockeyHallFame"
Despite his achievements, the Golden Knights decided not to retain him for the upcoming season. After hitting free agency, Marchessault joined the Nashville Predators, alongside star forward Steven Stamkos and defenseman Brady Skjei .

In an interview with TSN, Marchessault criticized the Golden Knights for their lack of effort to keep him on the roster.
"I don't think they tried their best to keep me."
Jonathan Marchessault isn't the only notable player to leave Vegas this offseason. Golden Knights GM Kelly McCrimmon responded to fan concerns by emphasizing his superior knowledge of the team's players.
"'Fans think they know our players. I know our players better.'

While Golden Knights fans may worry about the team's future, Nashville fans can look forward to Jonathan Marchessault's contributions in the seasons to come.
