The Winnipeg Jets defenseman Brenden Dillon got rushed off the ice after a scary skate blade cut in a wild scrum against the Colorado Avalanche.

After the Avs' game 3 win, by a score of 6-2, a major brawl emerged with all players on the ice getting involved. Unfortunately, this led to a scary injury to Jets' defenseman Brenden Dillon.
Dillon was cut by a skate blade. He left the scrum and retreated to the locker room, holding his bleeding hand
The video of the incident is quite troubling to watch:

Josh Morrissey, Dillon's teammate, couldn't hide his concerns in his post-game press conference:
"#NHLJets Josh Morrissey was clearly shaken up as he came out to speak with us here in Denver. Asked about Brenden Dillon's injury, he called it a «scary situation»l.»

«We're all really concerned for him and hoping he's OK.»"
The head coach Rick Bowness also gave details about Dillon's status, saying he was still being evaluated:
"Rick Bowness says Brenden Dillon is still being examined. No update at this time."
Nothing more was confirmed by the organization. More updates are expected in the coming days, but unfortunately for the Jets, skate cut can take a long time to heal. If they don't reach the second round, it would be surprising to see Dillon back on the ice this year.
