The Hurricanes captain suffered an extremely scary injury as Martin Fehervary's skate caught him in the face. As we all know, skate blades are extremely sharp and are capable of producing fatal injuries.

Luckily, disaster was avoided. Stall miraculously returned to the Carolina bench for the start of the 3rd period.
Good news to start the third period for the #Canes, as Captain Jordan Staal is back after missing the back half of the second.

Great to see disaster was avoided after catching a skate to the helmet.
Staal has 4 goals and 10 points for the Hurricanes this season.
