The Seattle Kraken provided some unfortunate news in their latest injury update.
Kraken's Forward Out Long-Term After Surgery

The Kraken shared on X that Brandon Tanev will miss four to six weeks of action.
He had to undergo surgery after getting injured last week in a game against the Golden Knights.

If you missed it, here's what happened:
"Brett Howden received a two-game suspension for this high hit on Tanev."
Howden has already served his time, but Tanev will be out much longer.
It's a significant loss for the Kraken, who haven't won a game yet this season.
Updates will follow.
