Devastating news has surfaced as two-time Olympic hockey medalist is currently facing incredibly challenging times following an accident during a game.

Tragic Accident Leaves Olympic Hockey Medalist Paralyzed

Sanni Hakala, the recipient of two Olympic bronze medals with Team Finland, suffered a serious injury when she went headfirst into the post early in a game in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) on Friday. She was promptly rushed to the hospital.

Regrettably, the outlook is grim for the 26-year-old, with reports indicating that she is unable to feel anything from the waist down.
