1300-game veteran Stanley Cup Champion has officially retired from the NHL

Colorado Avalanche player Andrew Cogliano has officially announced his retirement after nearly 1,300 games in the NHL.

In a post on X, the Avalanche organization shared that veteran player Andrew Cogliano is retiring after 18 seasons in the NHL.
"Thank you Cogs for continuously making an impact on and off the ice. Congratulations on an outstanding career."
Cogliano was drafted 25th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in 2005. Throughout his career, he played for the Oilers, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks, and Colorado Avalanche.
In 1,294 regular season games, Cogliano scored 190 goals and 274 assists. He also added 13 goals and 27 assists in 131 playoff games. Cogliano won the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche in 2022.
