37-year-old hockey player tragically passes away at a nightclub

There was a fight that broke out at a nightclub in Russia involving a 37-year-old hockey player named Artem Tortochakov, and he tragically died.
The Russian hockey community is currently mourning the tragic death of Artem Tortochakov, a 37-year-old man who unexpectedly died. Artem, who played for the HC Metallurg hockey club passed away on the night of November 3 at the hospital. His sudden death indescribably shocked everyone from the numerous fans to Artem's teammates and his close ones.

A source in the investigative committee told RIA Novosti that there was a conflict between 37-year-old hockey player Artem Tortochakov and a 25-year-old resident of Abakan, which led to the death of the athlete."
It is alleged that Tortochakov was last seen in an altercation with a person on the street outside a bar very late in the hour. Eyewitnesses tell of a scuffle between the two men after which Tortochakov was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Policemen have launched an inquiry into how he died and the investigation mode is presumed to be ongoing.
A forensic office clearly pointed out the cause of death as head injuries. This has deepened the already present sadness that came with this event which added even more grave details of what occurred that night. There is however no clear information on the happenings available to the public or on the identification of the other individual involved.
"The press service of the Investigative Committee told RIA Novosti that a criminal case has been opened against a 25-year-old resident of Abakan regarding the death of a 37-year-old man as a result of a fight. According to investigators, on the night of November 3, the deceased and the suspect had a fight while near one of the entertainment establishments in Abakan. Afterwards, the suspect struck the victim several times with his hands and a kick in the head. Then the fight moved further away from the establishment.
The victim was taken to the hospital, however, despite the resuscitation measures taken, it was not possible to save the man."
The duration of the investigation is unknown and vague, which is creating many questions within the hockey community. As the investigation goes on, those close to the athlete and fans of his still suffer from his sudden passing. The instant tragedy comes barely a week after the one-year anniversary of another loss of a player, Adam Johnson, who died while playing hockey in the UK.
We are with his friends, teammates, and most importantly the family of Artem Tortochakov during this moment. Such a death is proof of how simple things can result in the most catastrophic of events int he blink of an eye. Rest in peace.
