Jesse Puljujarvi Officially Signs New Contract With The Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Sunday that they have signed former 4th overall pick Jesse Puljujarvi to a PTO.

Forward Jesse Puljujarvi has joined the Penguins as a free agent tryout.

Defenseman P.O Joseph has been recalled from his conditioning loan to the @WBSPenguins

Puljujarvi has been without a contract due to recovery from double hip surgery over the summer. Recently he was cleared for contact and is already practicing with the Penguins.

Over 6 seasons, he has played 334 games with 51 goals and 63 assists for 114 total points.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 201 pounds, Puljujarvi provides size and isn't afraid to use it. Over the last three seasons, he has amassed a total of 321 hits.
