Cherry Mourns Death Of Former OHL Captain
The former Hockey Night In Canada host made a post in honor of Scott Page, the first ever captain of the Mississauga Steel Heads in the Ontario Hockey League. Page was just 44 years old.
Was so sad to hear the passing of Scott Page, the first captain of the Mississauga IceDogs. He was a tough as they come and a great leader. Godspeed Scott.
Page played in five seasons in the OHL, two with the Sudbury Wolves, one with the Soo Greyhounds, and two with the Mississauga Steel Heads. He had 103 points in his career in the OHL and over 500 penalty minutes although he never played above the ECHL level.
