As the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs approach, the Boston Bruins have proven themselves to be the top team in the league, dominating their opponents with their exceptional skills and teamwork. They have clinched a spot in the playoffs and are considered the clear favorite to take home the Stanley Cup this year.
Injuries are an unfortunate reality of professional sports, especially as the intensity of playoff games increases. Many players will go to great lengths to support their team, even if it means playing through significant injuries. As the playoffs approach, teams are doing everything they can to get their star players healthy and back in top form before the first round.
While the Bruins' first-round opponent is yet to be determined, the Penguins, Islanders, and Panthers are all vying for Wild Card positions. Currently, the Bruins are playing against the Philadelphia Flyers, and are without 6 of their staring players; Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, Charlie McAvoy, Taylor Hall, Dmitry Orlov and Linus Ullmark are all scratched.
As of puck drop, the lines for todays game are:

Bertuzzi-Zacha-Pastrnak
Lauko-Frederic-Lettieri
Greer-Nosek-Hathaway
Lindholm-Carlo
Grzelcyk-Carrick

Montgomery said he did not know how they'd do the goalie hug if they win. Maybe they'd wait for "Goalie Bob" Essensa to come down from the press box.
More importantly: he said everyone except Foligno and Forbort are expected for Game 1 (and they just aren't yet sure on them).— Matt Porter (@mattyports) April 9, 2023
