Pascal Vincent, the Montreal Canadiens' AHL head coach, lost it on the referees last night and got ejected from the game against the Toronto Marlies.
The Laval Rocket were back in action last night, facing a divisional rival in a high-stakes North Division matchup.
Vincent, the former Columbus Blue Jackets coach, reached his breaking point in the final minutes of the contest.
Indeed, after a heated exchange with the officials on the bench, he was ejected from the game.
The Rocket ultimately lost 4-1 to the Marlies.

The Marlies played better than the Rocket, there's no denying it. But penalties made the game turn their way even more.
Vincent wasn't happy about it, and he let the officials know it.

Here's what Vincent said when he was asked to explain why he was so furious with the referees towards the end of the game:
"The turning point was Blais going on a breakaway and the referee calling an offside. It changes the game because I'm sure he scores on that play."
Discipline proved to be the undoing for the Canadiens' affiliate. The Marlies took full advantage of their opportunities.
"We were the better team at five-on-five in the second period. The first was slow, but we were coming off three games in three nights and we hadn't been on the ice for two days. I expected that. They had seven power plays and that doesn't help. I think emotions took over.
The Rocket will need to reset quickly to avoid letting these frustrations derail their playoff push.
