Craig Berube turns down coaching offer from Canadian team over pay

Craig Berube, a highly sought-after coach this year, was reportedly close to joining the Ottawa Senators. Despite longstanding interest from both Berube and the Toronto Maple Leafs, negotiations with Ottawa fell through.

Elliotte Friedman revealed on the Jeff Marek show that money was the primary sticking point in the talks between Berube and the Senators.
