Evander Kane of the Edmonton has made a life changing announcement with his new girlfriend Mara Teigen.
Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane & his girlfriend model Mara Teigen have announced that they are having a baby. This life changing news comes just a month after Kane revealed that they are getting married. Teigen shared this on instagram posting a video of them announcing their pregnancy. The video shows Kane and Teigen overjoyed as they take this next step together.
Their two sons, Iverson and Hendrix, were also part of the celebration. In the video, Mara pops a balloon that releases pink confetti, revealing they are expecting a baby girl!
As Kane prepares for his fourth season with the Oilers, he's working through an injury that will delay his return to the lineup. Kane is expected to be back before the playoffs for the Oilers.
"For me, that was very important because it was a big undertaking and injury and for me something that I want to get fixed once, fixed correctly, and continue my playing career."
His strong play and physical presence have been crucial to the team, which is aiming for the Stanley Cup after a tough Game 7 loss to the Florida Panthers last season.
