Lian Bichsel gave Glen Gulutzan's Stars a jolt when he dropped the gloves with Jack McBain in a true heavyweight scrap.

The clip lives up to the call right away. This isn't a wrestling match or a quick grab with nothing behind it.
Bichsel and McBain square up with bad intentions, and once the gloves hit the ice, both guys are ready to trade. The fight has real weight from the opening second.
Bichsel looks calm in the middle of it. He stays planted, keeps his reach working for him, and throws with force instead of just trying to survive the exchange.
McBain doesn't back off, either. He stands in, answers back, and makes sure this turns into the kind of scrap fans remember.
That's why the clip jumps off the screen. Both players are all-in, and neither one is looking for a quick exit once it gets going.
It has that old-school feel to it. Big bodies, clean square-up, hard shots, and enough push from both sides to make it feel like a real heavyweight fight.

This one stands out because neither player gives ground

A lot of fights get hyped up online and don't deliver much once you watch them back. This one is different because the exchange stays honest from start to finish.
Bichsel brings the edge you want from a young blue-liner with size. He doesn't just accept the challenge. He leans into it and makes it count.
McBain gives the fight its other half. He keeps swinging, keeps his balance, and makes sure the clip never turns one-sided.
That balance is what makes the whole thing work. It feels like a real test between two players who were both ready for the moment.
For Dallas fans, it's the kind of sequence that gets the bench alive. For everybody else, it's just a flat-out good hockey fight with no need for extra hype.
When people call something a heavyweight tilt, this is what they mean. Bichsel and McBain gave them one.
