Quinn Hughes grabbed the mic after winning Olympic gold and Team USA got a little too carried away with themselves during a live interview on NBC.
The United States just closed out Milano Cortina with a win over Canada, and the celebrations rolled straight into live TV.
NBC host Mike Tirico jumped into a quick on-air chat during the closing coverage.
The four players with him were Quinn Hughes, Jack Hughes, Connor Hellebuyck, and Dylan Larkin.
They looked like a group that had been living on adrenaline for two weeks, and finally got permission to exhale.
Quinn, especially, came off loose, loud, and fully in party mode, which is exactly why the clip spread.
That's the risk with live hits at a medal ceremony, you either get a classic quote or a chaotic five minutes.
NBC knows what it's doing, but the internet still loves dunking on anyone who looks "too festive" on camera.
Quinn Hughes keeps Team USA loud and loose
If you're a hockey fan, you probably laughed, then immediately thought, please don't let this turn into a distraction.
The funny part is the context, Hughes has been driving results, not just vibes, with six points in four games at the event.
In the 2-1 quarterfinal win over Sweden, Jack and Quinn set up Larkin early, then Quinn ended it in overtime.
Hellebuyck has been the calm in the storm between the pipes, letting the blue line stay aggressive without panic.
That's why the celebration landed so hard, this wasn't a fluke run, it was stars delivering in tight games.
Larkin looked like the adult in the group on TV, which fits a center who wins hard minutes and keeps shifts organized.
Now the big question is whether Team USA can tuck the viral moment away and keep the edge for whatever comes next.
Gold is supposed to feel messy, and for once, hockey let the world see it.
