Detroit Red Wings Reportedly Engaged In Heavy Trade Talks Involving Promising Young Forward Jonatan Berggren
Insider David Pagnotta reveals that the Detroit Red Wings are currently engaged in some serious trade discussions 23 year old skilled forward Jonatan Berggren.
The #LGRW have been engaged in trade talks lately, per source. Jonatan Berggren, who was scratched in today's Grand Rapids game (that is still ongoing), is one of the players believed to be in recent discussions.
While it remains uncertain if a trade is imminent, various sources have confirmed that Berggren's name has surfaced in trade discussions with multiple teams in recent weeks. There are some indications of recent trade talks between the Detroit Red Wings and the Montreal Canadiens although it's not 100% if Berggren was the player being discussed.
Berggren is in the final year of a three-year, $2.775 million contract and has shown alot of promise with both the Wings and the Grand Rapids this season.
