Trade Discussions Are Heating Up Between The Edmonton Oilers And Columbus Blue Jackets

There's no doubt the Columbus Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers haven't had the start to the season they've wanted. There's been a lot of speculation on what needs to be done and what should've been done but it seems we are finally coming to a conclusion.

Oilers / Blue Jackets - two teams that have been looking to make moves for some time. I wonder if Adam Boqvist is a D target for Edmonton. Columbus is still looking to move a D. Andrew Peeke isn't playing, for those curious. It's quite interesting that EDM has kept tabs on Columbus their last 2 games.

Boqvist and Peeke are two names that could fit quite well for the Oilers. A trade for one of the two would help them bolster their defensive depth and improve the stability on their back end.

There's been some reports out of Columbus that two of their young Russian forwards are unhappy with their current situation.

They are reporting in Russia that #CBJ Dmitri Voronkov does not like life in America. The player is in contact with Ak Bars.

Voronkov's contract contains a clause allowing him to return to the #KHL until the end of December.
