New Jersey Devils Scratch 30-Goal Scorer For Trade Related Reasons

According to reports, the New Jersey Devils are officially scratching forward Tyler Toffoli for trade related reasons.

Toffoli has been attracting lots of interest from cup contenders and it's a safe bet he will get traded before 3pm strikes tomorrow afternoon. The 31-year-old ranks No. 6 on Frank Seravalli's most recent trade targets board ahead of Friday's NHL trade deadline.

Toffoli has recorded 26 goals and 18 assists for 44 points in 61 games and leads the Devils in the goal-scoring department.
