One of the top contender city to get an NHL team made major upgrades to their arena, which could be an indication that the Coyotes' time in Arizona might be ending soon.

Houston's Toyota Center Prepares for NHL Team

The Arizona Coyotes have been facing the risk of losing their team for a while now, and their ongoing struggle to secure an NHL-quality arena is increasing the likelihood of their relocation.
Now, it seems that the Toyota Center in Houston is taking steps to become NHL-ready.
Of note: The renovation underway at Houston's Toyota Center will include the installation of ice-making equipment that will ensure the building can ultimately be NHL-ready.

Houston's NHL Aspirations and Other Cities Put Pressure on Arizona

Whether or not the Coyotes make the move to Houston, the interest from several cities in acquiring an NHL franchise is undeniably putting pressure on the Coyotes to find a viable solution.
