Earlier this season, Boston Bruins' play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards sparked controversy when he made a derogatory comment about Tampa Bay Lightning player Patrick Maroon's weight during a game. Maroon, however, turned the situation around and used it as an opportunity to raise money for charity.

Fast forward to today, when the Bruins faced off against the Lightning again, resulting in a 2-1 victory for the Bruins. During the game, Maroon received a penalty, leading to a powerplay goal for the Bruins, and Edwards used this moment to take a subtle jab at Maroon.

''Maroon takes the skate of shame!''

‘'Have a seat!''
