Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman breaks down what happened with his contract and addresses Cam Neely's comments in new extension press conference

The Bruins are hoping things will settle down now that goaltender Jeremy Swayman has signed his new contract. On Sunday, the team announced that Swayman agreed to an 8-year deal worth $64 million.
Soon after, Swayman shared a short message with Bruins fans on the team's social media, thanking them for their support during the process.
"Hey fans, Sway here," began Swayman. "So excited to be back, cannot thank all of you for all the support throughout the entire process but we've got a lot of new beginnings to start and I cannot wait to get going."
While many fans supported Swayman, not everyone was happy during the negotiations. Some even called for him to be traded or benched after comments made by Bruins president Cam Neely last week.
Interestingly, Swayman appeared serious at the start of the video before quickly smiling, leading to speculation about whether his message was heartfelt or something he felt obligated to do.
Shortly after, Jeremy Swayman addressed the Cam Neely comments and his contract negotiations with the Boston Bruins in his new extension press conference.
Stay tuned for more.
