Calgary Flames Place Veteran Forward Kevin Rooney On The Waiver Wire
Forward Kevin Rooney, who has been recovering from a shoulder injury since October, was placed on waivers Monday by the Calgary Flames according to insider Chris Johnston.
Placed on NHL waivers today: Kevin Rooney (CGY).

This move follows his activation from long-term injured reserve. Once he clears waivers, Rooney is expected to join AHL Calgary and resume playing.
In the previous season, he contributed with one assist, 14 shots on goal, 10 blocked shots, and 26 hits in 17 games with the Flames.
