Chicago Blackhawks Claim 6'6" Defenseman From Waivers to Protect Bedard on the Ice

The Chicago Blackhawks have made a significant move by claiming Jaycob Megna, a 6'6" defenseman, off the NHL waiver wire.
At 31 years old, Megna brings experience and a lot of physicality to the Blackhawks. He has a reputation for jumping in when his teammates need him, and that's exactly what his mission will be in Chicago.
In his career, he played 141 NHL games with the Kraken, Sharks and Ducks. The 7th round pick was drafted in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and has accumulated 25 pts in 141 games.
This could be a steal from Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks.
More will come.
