Connor Bedard's rookie season may have started slow, but in recent days he's getting red-hot, and even with all of that early success, he's not immune to a hilarious rookie error.
In a recent game against the Florida Panthers, Bedard took a penalty, and hilariously as the referee was announcing it to the crowd, Bedard headed to the wrong penalty box, and was quickly corrected.
After a relatively slow start, Bedard has been one of the hottest players in the NHL recently, taking his tally to 9 goals and 13 points through the first 13 games of his career.
At 18-years of age, there's no player in the league with a brighter future, but even amidst all of the success, it's great to see him dealing with mistakes like this in front of all the eyes fixed solely upon him, as this won't be the last rookie mistake he makes.
