A recent report has confirmed that Patrick Kane is making his way back to Chicago. After several weeks of training in Toronto during his rehab, he's now set to spend some time in the Windy City to recharge and prepare for his return, as reported by Darren Dreger.
Patrick Kane was spotted (in Toronto) on Wednesday... He's going back to Chicago for a bit of a break. But... he's been working out in the Toronto area rehabbing. I'm told that, man, he is on schedule and looks great and feels great.
The hockey world eagerly awaits Patrick Kane's decision on where he'll play this season. His return to Chicago provides him and his agent with an opportunity to consider their options in a less intense training environment.
Kane Begins Exploring New Opportunities
Dreger also shed light on Kane's potential quest for a new team, with the search expected to kick off in the coming week or so.
To the point where his agent is going to start exploring (signing options) in a week to ten days. And once they get through that, they'll follow with interviews and meetings with some of these clubs, before Kane makes his ultimate decision.
Patrick Kane, a three-time Stanley Cup champion, has been linked to several teams in recent weeks, with the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, and Colorado Avalanche among the most frequently mentioned.
As November progresses, all eyes will be on Patrick Kane and his impending return.
