Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones seems to be showing early signs of frustration after the team dropped their first two games of the 2024-25 NHL season.
In last night's game, the Blackhawks were leading 1-0 in the final minute of the third period when Jets forward Mark Scheifele tied the game. Scheifele then scored again in overtime to hand the Blackhawks another loss.
After the game Seth Jones sent a strong message to his teammates expressing frustration over losing games in the final moments. He emphasized that playing well for 59 minutes isn't enough if you want to win.
Jones who is in his 13th NHL season has played 799 games with the Nashville Predators, Columbus Blue Jackets & the Chicago Blackhawks. He's eager to see his team improve & push for a playoff spot, as he's only participated in 37 playoff games in his career.
Jones' words are likely to motivate the locker room with the Blackhawks looking to bring more intensity in their next game against the Edmonton Oilers.
