Avalanche Head Coach Reveals Key Player's Season May Be Over
Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar confirmed some terrible news regarding one of their key players.
Bednar Gives an Update on Francouz
Avalanche netminder was injured during the training camp and has been sidelined since the season started.
Bednar provided an update on the goalie's situation:
#Avs Jared Bednar didn't rule out the possibility that Pavel Francouz' injury is season-ending. It sounds like they're unsure if or when he'll be back.
"He's out until I get notice that he's even close to coming back."
Avalanche to Rely Heavily on Georgiev?
It appears that the Colorado Avalanche will have no choice but to rely on Alexandar Georgiev for most of the games.
He has already played in all of the Avs' games this season and has shown that he can handle the job.
He boasts a 4-0 record, a 0.98 GAA, and a .965 SV%.
If he continues on this trajectory, he could lead Colorado to one of their most successful seasons.
