Avalanche Forward Sidelined Due to Significant Injury

The Colorado Avalanche have encountered a major setback, as reported by Insider Elliotte Friedman. The team is expected to be without forward Artturi Lehkonen for a long time.
"Friedman on 32TP mentions it looks like Lehkonen's injury is pretty significant and the Avalanche are in the market to add some depth scoring."

Lehkonen sustained an injury during a game against the Seattle Kraken, following a collision into the boards caused by Jamie Oleksiak. After the incident, Lehkonen was hospitalized and, as per Head Coach Jared Bednar, is anticipated to be absent for "weeks" due to a neck injury.

Friedman also suggested that the Avalanche might consider acquiring a new player to fill the offensive gap left by Lehkonen. So far this season, Lehkonen has contributed 3 goals and 8 points in 12 games, with Colorado holding an 11-5-0 record.
