BREAKING: Former Top Pick Claimed off Waivers

Liam Foudy has been a Columbus Blue Jacket prospect since he was drafted 18th overall by the team in 2018. He played over 60 games with the club last year, scoring 7 goals and 7 assists, however, the Blue Jackets placed him on waivers to start the season this year.

This didn't last long, as Nashville took the opportunity to scoop up the promising young forward.

This is a nice pick up for Nashville since they have some wiggle room to make the claim. Unfortunately for Columbus, they lost their 2018 first-round pick for nothing.
