Detroit Red Wings forward David Perron will have an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety.
Perron is facing discipline for cross-checking Ottawa Senators defenseman Artem Zub during last night's game after he responded to his captain being down injured on the ice.
Perron received a match penalty for intent to injure on the play.
David Perron has been offered an in-person hearing by @NHLPlayerSafety for cross-checking Artem Zub, which means that his suspension can be in excess of five games.
